Dr. Jeremy Novak, PhD

Dr. Novak is a Full Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in child and adolescent services, and offers treatment for adults and families. He has worked in a variety of outpatient and inpatient settings providing psychological treatment and testing for a variety of disorders, including but not limited to, Child, Adolescent, Adult, ADHD, and Autism testing, OCD, ODD, and Disruptive Disorders. Dr. Novak's approach to treatment is collaborative and flexible. He has been extensively trained and primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as Mindful Based treatments to address mental health concerns. He is also comfortable working in less structured techniques such as psychodynamic or insight-oriented treatments. Dr. Novak collaborates with other professionals including physicians, schools, and other ancillary services to effectively integrate treatment and achieve the most possible success in treatment. Dr. Novak obtained his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University and completed his doctoral internship at the University of Michigan. His professional affiliations include membership to the American Psychological Association, including Division 53 Child and Adolescent Psychology and Division 42 Independent Practice, the Michigan Psychological Association, and the Anxiety and Depression Association of America.
