Christine Tchakerian, LLMSW

Christy is a limited license Master Social Worker who has served in the mental health field for over eight years. She has experience with treatment planning, therapeutic intervention, stress management and mindfulness. Christy provided supports coordination/case management services upon obtaining her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Wayne State University in 2015. She then earned her Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University in 2023, where she expanded into the field of clinical therapy. Christy’s focus is on working with adults with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, developmental disabilities, mood disorders, acute stress, and others, providing person-centered services from a strengths-based, holistic perspective. Christy uses an integrative approach to therapy, with a focus on holism, incorporating the idea of self-actualization and body-mind-spirit connection into one’s treatment. She specializes in somatic psychotherapy, CBT, ACT, transpersonal therapy, and mindfulness techniques such as breathwork, meditation, journaling and more.
