Agnes Ward, PhD, LP, CAADC​, BCBA, LBA

Dr. Ward is a Licensed Psychologist ​and Licensed Behavior Analyst. She conducts therapy with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She focuses on treating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, marital and family issues, behavioral problems, personality disorders, and substance abuse. She specializes in the treatment of trauma, post-partum depression, and eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. Dr. Ward also conducts pre-marital and marital assessments. She serves as consultant for agencies seeking to become trauma informed and has advised on process, procedures, and physical space/aesthetics that promote a safe environment. Dr. Ward has presented to clinical professionals, educators, and community groups on eating disorders, and on the effects of trauma across the lifespan. She completed her doctoral degree at Wayne State University researching personality and risk-taking behaviors in emerging adulthood. Dr. Ward is a national trainer for Mental Health First Aid, a program teaching individuals how to assist in a mental health or substance use related crisis. She is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapist. Dr. Ward is a member of the American Psychological Association, Michigan Psychological Association, and National Eating Disorders Association.
