Julie A. Phillips, LMSW

Ms. Phillips is a Licensed Master Social Worker with over a decade of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents and adults in a private clinical setting.  She also has 18 years experience as a school social worker, working with elementary through junior high school students, as well as their parents, primarily in special education.  She utilizes a holistic and eclectic approach to help clients solve problems and reach their full potential.  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, along with mindfulness techniques guide her practice. Areas that she specializes in include anxiety, grief and loss, depression, relationship and change of life issues, as well as interpersonal concerns.  Ms. Phillips earned her Master's in Social Work from Wayne State University in 1998.
