Christine Tchakerian, LLMSW

Christy is a limited license Master Social Worker who has served in the mental health field for over eight years. Christy earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from Michigan State University and her Bachelor of Social Work from Wayne State University. She has valuable experience working in supports coordination/case management in which she provided treatment planning, therapeutic intervention, stress management and mindfulness, and coordination of services that support individuals to work toward their goals and achieve their full potential. Christy’s focus is in working with adults with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, developmental disabilities, mood disorders, acute stress, and others, providing person-centered services from a strengths-based, holistic perspective. Christy’s approach to therapy is transpersonal, incorporating the idea of self-actualization and body-mind-spirit connection into one’s treatment. She specializes in mindfulness techniques such as breathwork, meditation, journaling and more.
