Jillian Kwapik, MA, LLPC

Jillian is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor and former educator with nine years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across educational and clinical settings. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Special Education and Early Childhood Education from Michigan State University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University. Jillian has experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and life transitions. She brings a warm, collaborative, and client-centered approach to her work, grounded in the belief that each client is the expert of their own life. She deeply values client agency and autonomy, and strives to create a supportive space where individuals feel empowered, understood, and respected in their healing process. Her therapeutic approach is holistic and integrative, incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic awareness, and other evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
