Tabitha is a Licensed Social Worker, who provides individual therapy to adults and children 8 and older. She is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood and empowered to make meaningful changes. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, life transitions, women's issues, self-esteem, relationships, OCD, and emotional regulation. My approach to therapy is collaborative and individualized, recognizing that each person's experiences, strengths and goals are unique. She believes therapy is a space for self-exploration, growth, and developing practical tools to navigate life's challenges.
Tabitha incorporates evidence-based approaches while tailoring treatment to each client's needs, including cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness-based techniques, coping skills development, and strengths-based interventions. Tabitha's goal is to help clients better understand themselves, build confidence, and improve emotional awareness, and develop healthy strategies for managing stress and difficult emotions. She strives to meet clients where they are while supporting them and creating lasting change and a stronger connection with themselves. Tabitha has experience working in Hospice, hospital, case management and in schools. She completed her Bachelors of Social Work from Oakland University and Master in Social Work from Wayne State University.
